Cheers 2013!

May This new year bring many opportunities your way to explore every joy of life. May your resolutions for the days ahead stay firm turning all your dreams into reality and all your efforts into great achievements! Happy New Year!

A little sparkle can brighten your day. Today we got a break after days of rain and storm. It was beautiful and that definitely cheered me up.. Oh and I got my blood work results for the Vit D - I am absolutely fine :-D

On to a little food discussion- India is known for its tangy and spicy street food. You can find them here in a few Indian restaurants or few grocery stores that sell Chaat.  One such dish is called PaniPuri. You can read more about it here. It is a hollow crisp filled with little spiced potato, onion, tamarind sauce and the spicy green water made of various other spices. The whole puri is eaten one at a time. The crisp breaks and the flavors mingle and is quite an amazing medley of sour, sweet and spice.  :) Dont worry it is not as big as it looks like in this pic.  Id say this dish tops my list of my favorite street foods.
